After fleeing his home and the evil twin witches, Kubo teams up with Monkey and Beetle to save his family in this new trailer for LAIKA’s upcoming animated film, Kubo and the Two Strings. Kubo’s magical powers—using music to animate origami—are on full display as the trio battle gods and monsters. Check it out below!

Kubo hits theaters August 19th.
